At a LFS, they have 2 Clown Knife fish, at around 8 inches.
They are absolutely stunning...

I have a 190 gallon tank.

Tank is 2 feet wide, and 2 feet high and 6.5 feet long.

I really would like to keep one in my tank, it's currently cycling.

Photo of tank is in my avatar.
Filtration is decent, fx6 + eheim 2217, will get another 2217 in a few weeks.

I'm wondering if it's possible to have one for life in that tank?

(My supplier actually had some Chitala Chitala's available for order a few weeks back... I wish I'd ordered one then......)

I actually know the answer to my own question, it's going to be no.

You might as well have fun with it since Most fish people keep will never be able to get full grown and live their intier life in their tanks anyways. ^ +1 I'll take a few years for him to out grow it and your plans may change with him later on down the road.
