???
could i keep a gachua with a marble goby?

If the Gachua doesn't kill the goby when small, the goby will eat the Gachua when it gets bigger. Marbled gobies get big, almost 2'. Lose, lose. :(

No. the marbled goby has a big mouth in proportion to its appetite and the channa would probably wind up as dinner.

by the way the marbled goby is a very delicious and highly sought-after food fish in asia. if u guys happen to tour asia do drop by the chinese restaurants and give it a try! deep fried marbled goby... yum   :woot: :clap

i see. so should i just keep my gachua solo?

jimmy where did u get the gauchua. PM me or call me on my cell.
If you really want a blue gill, ask joey. he has ones we caught from san dimas in the same tank as piranas.
or we can hit up that lake one of these dayz and catch some.

Do not keep any fish you like with marbled gobies, they get big, and while they don't move much , when they do they eat things, I once had on tha at around 14" ate a 12" large mouth bass, it swam around with just the tail sticking out of it's mouth for a couple hours, it also ate canned cat food, bullheads, sunfish, and tried to eat the heater and my hand.

whats a good tankmate for a gachua?

how about a gachua with a clown loach? what do clown loaches eat?

In a tank sized 55 gal you can tahe some Gachua with some "Red nacked Macropods"- it would work fine ! :grinyes:
