Is this rare?

I have been noticing that my flowerhorn is one of the only ones that I have seen with flowers in her dorsal fin. Is this rare and is this desirable amongst collectors? I am still learning about the grading of these fish. Here is a crappy pic, but it gets the point across..

It's not rare..it means that it's a girl

Yep it's a girl alright.
If your FH have a black spot/s on the dorsal fin, mostly it means its a girl.

Thanks guys... What base species did fh's get this trait from? Sexing fish can sometimes be tricky.

Trimacs. I'm like 99% sure but maybe someone else can confirm

i have seen some barred female midas also w/ spot up there.
but yea....prob mostly due to trimac

Trimacs are so rare now that I have yet to see one in person. But this makes a lot of sense being my type of fh stems from trimac crosses. Thanks for the info... always eager to learn something new about my fish.
