I found a listing on an indonesian website that claims they are selling Chitala lopis.
I personally don't believe this, it's probably the Bronze Featherback. The title of the listing says (translated) "Aquarium/Decorative Fish Java Giant Featherback Notopterus Chitala Knifefish Lopis"

Below are the 2 images provided by the seller (second one really doen't help)ezgif-1-0e9b98ad38.pngezgif-1-e1d21720e6.png

Need a better side profile but likely notopterus notopterus. Certain localities in Indonesia will keep this black color and grow very large though, not sure what causes it. There is also an undescribed chitala species that looks similar to notopterus but this is not very likely (and illegal to possess within Indonesia)

Do you happen to know how the label was written before translation? A few of the local names used for these fish overlap and can cause confusion as well.
Very nice fish nonetheless

Ikan Hias Belida Raksasa Jawa Notopterus Chitala Knifefish Putak Lopis

The seller themseves say this is Notopterus notopterus, so that is what I thought, also considering how rare a real Chitala lopis is.
