my 225 gallon cracked today, before i was even able to fill her up and plump her.

the tank cracked on the back side. the crack runs the full height of the the tank. It runs Top to bottom of the glass.

Is it repairable? i Really dont want to buy a full back 90''x24''x.5'' piece of glass
or should i just trash it?

If you guys think is repairable, what is the best way?

Whether it is repairable or not depends largely on the type of crack. That picture doesn't show it very well at all. Get a better picture up otherwise all your going to get is people's guesses.

for your tank size is suggest buying the whole back piece and replace the craked one

I'll try to get a better picture, it's hard to see because the back ground is painted black

this is the backside/outside of the tank

Better question......what caused that? You don't want to replace it only for it to happen again!

Is the crack across that whole side of the tank?

If so, it's probably not.. Any losses?

yeah the whole side, it may be might fault, from drilling the Over Flow holes.

no there was no losses, i was in the process of setting the tank up =(.

i dont really know what cause it. I filled the tank up to about where the overflow is, I was running a pump, for water circulation. My friend walked in the door, slam the door a little, and then all of the sudden, i heard the tank break, and water started to come out.

the door is on the other side of the room, so i realy dont know why it cracked.

most likely, it cracked from stress.

man it really sucks, i didnt even get to put one fish in that tank. =(
What makes it really worst, the tank cracked like 2 hours before my 20th bday
