Is this right its from a yahoo news post

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources Inland Fisheries (DNR) is hoping so and is offering $200 gift cards through Bass Pro Shops to residents who capture and kill a snakehead, an invasive species from Africa that is upsetting the natural order of the local ecosystem.

Since they're from Asia, I would say that is incorrect.

they have the wrong origin for the snakehead, Africa, Asia they both start with A's. close enough

Hi,

there are snakeheads in Asia AND Africa !!


but the snakeheadsa in maryland are Channa argus, and these are asian.
All three african snakehead species are from the genus Parachanna
