I know about venting and a female is Oo and a male is o> but if a tube is straight and round it's a female while right? And a male is pointed backwards and pointy?

The direction of the tube is irrelevant. But yes females will have a large thick tube so they can lay eggs. the males breeding tube looks like the tip of a ballpoint pin and comes to a point. It is much smaller than the females tube.
