Thanks so much. ok so i trimmed the rot but because it had already spread all the way through about 95% of the rhizome do you think it will survive with just a little pimple-sized bump f a rhizome? im gonna upload a pic in just 1 min hold on a sec here.
 
just keap an eye on it the love hate of plates it they help in the nitite cycle but if they start to die and decay they also can harm it. Another thing to check is you PH some plants can not do high or low extreams.
 
You should wave just left the plant alone. The white roots are new and are healthy. Next time, just plant it with the crown of the plant above the gravel.
