I started noticing that my pearl gourami's tail fin looked a bit ragged. Then gradually over the next week or so, the pectoral fins started splitting and looking ragged. Shortly after that, the area of the fish on top and in front of the dorsal fin started getting lighter (sort of looks like when you have a sunburn and your skin peels to expose lighter skin underneath).

You can't see the ragged pectoral fins, but you can see how the tail fin is ragged.
I've been treating with Maracyn/Maracyn II. I'm at day 5 of the treatment, and it doesn't look any worse, but it also doesn't look any better.
Does this look like saddleback columnaris?
