Behind my apartment there is a pond, behind that is a small stream not connected to the pond but i found some plants growing in the water and since Ive been into adding live plants to my tank i wanted to put this in.
Is it not safe to add live plants that are collected from the wild?
If it is safe do you know the name of this plant?
Any advice would be much help :D

Also i know snails could be on the plants so i will make sure to rinse it off good, just wanna make sure it wont poison my fish :)

I don't think it will poison your fish, but to be on the safe side I'd try it in a 2nd tank first... if you have one. Most plants that aquariums have problems with are one that grow too rapidly and take over. Personally, I'd give it a shot. If it sucks, lesson learned. Just share the info with the rest of us.

BTW, you are aware that you should use plant food 1x a week when using live plants, right? I didn't know this when I started with live plants.

Yep it does. I use API Leaf Zone because it contains chelated iron (promotes growth, prevents yellowing) and its cheap. $2.50 for a big bottle of it at LFS. 1 and a half cap fulls every Monday in my 26gal planted tank. I've had this planted setup for 3 months and have not once had to clean any alge at all. This stuff also seems to work incredibly well, as one of my Banana Plants has leafs more than 6 inches wide, and is bright as neon green.

Ill make sure to get some tomorrow when i go to get my cartridges for my filter. Ill probably have to get a bigger bottle cause my plants are in my 75, right now i just have horn wort and java moss so ill test the new plant in a 10 gal and see what happens.

Still cant identify what kind of plant it is so if anyone has an idea id like to know. Maybe some type of reed plant but that's the best i can come up with....
