I have many freshwater set-ups but, this will be my first saltwater tank. I don't know a lot about the equipment and its cost so I will rely on your opinions please. Is this setup and accessories worth $250? I am first in line this evening to come look at it and decide if I want to purchase it. Thank you for any opinions or comments.

$250 110 Gallon Saltwater Fish Tank and All Accessories. Ask for a list of accessories that are included

It's a 110 gallon so even if it came with nothing I'd say it's worth the $250.
But to answer your question, yes.

Is there any advantages or disadvantages to having a taller tank as opposed to wider? I have only had the wider tanks. Plus Im 5'9" so that could be difficult LOL

Disadvantages is that you have to buy stronger lights to penetrate the depths of the water but it only really comes into play if you plan on having corals and such.

If you plan on using it for saltwater you're definitely going to need better filtration. Under gravel filters went out with rotary phones. Wet/dry filters are rarely used for saltwater. Even at that, the price is good.
That's good info What do you suggest I use as filtration instead?

In saltwater live rock is mainly used for filtration based off of what I've read.

Live rock is a portion of the filtration (biological). You also need need some sort of mechanical filtration by way of a HOB filter or a sump. Personally I love sumps. You can hide your heaters, protein skimmer and other items in them.

What you do for filtration depends a lot on what kind of tank you're planning: fish only, FOWLR (fish only with live rock) or reef.
