  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
holy shizz .. thats over $1/lb and i have 100lbs in my tank .. just for sand ...

i pay $8 for 50 lbs .. pool filter sand .. works great and is cheep .. give up the black .. but i feel with the background blacked out is enough to get the colors to pop for me ..

looks abit rough mate but need better pics. there is no way to get decent blacksand at anafordable price here in the uk.

i gave up and when black tile, well near enough black and never looked back.

that should be ok just check and see if it has silica in it,if I may try Estes marine sand I use it and it works great, and it comes in black thats the color I have

Stay away from that stuff. I switched to it, thinking it would be less of a PITA than the CaribSea aragonite sand I was using, and I'm paying for it now. My ray stressed out and stopped eating, and now I noticed that her rear fins are red and irritated because this stuff is way too rough. It looks like sugar granules. I'm changing out again once I'm sure she's stable.

No Good. The lfs had my female in that stuff and her whole underside was lightly bleeding!!!
