Is this SB flowerhorn worth buying ?

Im completely new to MFK and I hope I’m posting in the correct place LOL I saw this short body FH at my LFS and was wondering if it is quality or not... he’s about 3” long. Again, I’m very new to flowerhorns thanks!

It looks good to me. As for quality, how does it look to you. That's what's important. From your pic, it looks like the FH
Is swimming in a big box store tank. If so, I'd say the FH is good quality relavent to what is routinely sold there.

Thanks for the reply, I love the way it looks IMO. Was just wondering if it was considered rare looking or high potential when older . I’m probably gunna buy it anyways just wondering lol

Unless you plan to breed it, rare looking and high potential doesn't really matter.

What really matters is whether you really love him and if he has personality. The fun part of keeping cichlids is that they are so interactive.

I wouldn't hesitate! If the price is right. Fine fish! 50 would be my top dollar
