Hey everyone. Well, I plan to breed my female dragon to my male dragon. How does this set-up look for breeding? They've been divided in the tank for about 1 month and last week I let them get together and they went at it. I was surprised today when I saw that he by-passed the divider and they were swimming together, not fighting. Now they swim together and dance a little. This is what I have in the tank: Sponge filter, HOB filter, and a clay pot. The female has laid eggs 2 times before so hopefully this time it'll work. I am a little worried about the male because he would just look at the food and not eat. I've tried bloodworms and fresh prawns but he doesn't eat it. Should I just keep feeding the female and hopefully the male will get an appetite. Is not eating something regarding breeding? Is the current in the tank too much? Should I only use the sponge filter or is the bubbler okay? Is the clay pot okay or should I get a piece of tile? There's so much to learn. If she lays eggs and it gets fertilized, should I take the male out, female out, both out or both in? Sorry if this post keeps going on and on. Please give me some advice on the set-up and what I need to do or change. Thanks, Ed.

Setup looks good for me..u can also put piece of tiles inside..i've tried it before..1 pot n 1 tiles..but i usually put tiles after i know the nesting ground they choose..sponge or bubble filter is ok..dont put it too close to the nest..its good if female have good appetite, she needs to produce eggs...lot of eggs..just feed her..This is based on my xperience..i dont know if others are different..wish u luck..
