is this silicone ok?

so long story short my silicone on my tank looks shotty after 1 year and aqueon sent me this for free (i asked for black) but ive never seen this stuff before??

I would think that the silicone that Aqueon sent you is fish safe. Probably the same stuff that they use.

That's good stuff. I used Momentive to build my 220. The reason you've never seen it is because it is a professional grade construction adhesive. You won't see it at the home improvement stores, but it is available at Grainger.

BTW is that a fat sleeper in your avatar?
