Is this stand safe?

I just bought a 125 and stand but I'm nervous about the setup. Every tank I've owned was always supported fully around the rim of the tank. This one is just the sides and center.

I think I wouldn't worry about that but how structurally sound is the stand because it was bought used.

As long as all four corners of the tank rest evenly & firmly on the stand, coupled with a center brace, likely no worries. I've have a 65 gal Oceanic tank that has been up and running 20 yrs. Resting on a similarly designed stand. Never had a problem.

Those kind of stands always make me nervous but always seem to hold up.

I'm pretty sure that's the Aqueon/all-glass factory stand. Hard to tell from pics, but looks exactly like the 125/150g stand that I have on my 150g.

I know those type stand bug me also. The wood that they’re made is thin but, turned vertically is very strong.
Just make certain that it’s level and not twisting the tank and you should be good.
