The stocking is fine for that size tank, but is a 20 long or 20 tall? That angel is going to need a tall tank. Also I hope you dont have two male gouramis because they either might leave each other alone, or tear each other apart, its a crap shoot. Id also recommend about 3 or 4 more cory cats, they prefer to be in groups. :)

I've never had gouramis but i've considered getting them and adding them with angel fish. From what I've heard it can be really good or really bad with Angels/Gouramis. Gouramis are pretty peaceful fish and i've heard of angels nipping at gouramis.

I love my Gourami's, probably more than any other fish I have honestly. They are very peaceful in general, as long as you don't just have 2 of the same sex... that can be a bit daunting. I doubt the angelfish will give them any problems, but as I'm sure you know every tank is different. I'd say go for it, none of those fish are major no-no's as tank mates..

yes but add a couple more corys and i hope its a tall cause angels need the height.

Actually, just to add to that last tidbit, I have a Blue Gourami right now in a 40g that's lived there with a Convict Cichlid and a red finned cigar shark, 2 pleco's, 1 RED BELLY PIRANHA, 2 cory's, and 2 very very young clown loaches. Everything is PERFECT as of right now since they are all grown up except for the piranha and the loaches... so it can be done even with more aggressive fish... I find adult gourami's to be very hardy and difficult to stress out.

PS. The piranha and loaches will be moved from the tank when they get to the right(or wrong depending on how you see it) size.

My girl friend had (one died so just one now) two dwarf gouramis with her 3 angel fish and they get along great.

My Dad has two regular sized gouramis with his two full grown angels and they also do great together. :)

Awesome... they are great fish. If they got to be a foot and a half long they'd be everyone's fav on MFK!
