Is this "Tank Safe"

Shopping in Home Goods and came across this. I know the glass is safe, but what about the rope? I think this would go GREAT in my 125 SA cichlid tank

Whether that rope has been chemically treated, for whatever reason, can probably only be answered by the manufacturer

Try it in a smaller tank with some cheaper fish
