I have redesigned the set up of my tank, removing some decors and adding more plants.

someone told me that it is overpopulated with plants. I am not sure, I also heard that plants are good for water and for fishes.
can you tell if this is okay? or shall I reduce the number of plants.

Floating plant is hornwort.
The one in the first pic I have seen but forget the name.
You have the right amount of plants. Most of your fish are either easy prey species, or are very nervous species and need high cover to feel comfortable. That cover is going to make your fish, especially the puffers, be very happy, even at the cost of it being hard to find them.
It’s good to have an open area as well as a crowded one for good swimming room as well as hiding space.

The 36 I keep my puffers onion. I call this only moderately planted.4924F323-E722-46F3-9AA7-6DD25662009F.jpeg
