about having the 2 males and 1 female, I was thinking of keeping the nicest male that is trying to breed and trading the 13'' male for a smaller female.
is this a good idea?

I'd suggest asking your mommy if your aloud to add a few more rays to the 500gal.. maybe adding more is a better solution than only keeping 2...
