Is this the egg tube or bulging anus?

Now for the last week this tube has been progressively getting larger. Not to mention she has become MUCH more aggressive, shes has dug three giant holes in the gravel and built a mountain literally 5 inches high.

Im not sure the difference between the bulging anus or egg tube im a noob so please excuse me. Sorry for the bad photo, she wont stand still for a second lol.

I got another flower horn that is pretty ugly, idk if its a male or female. I originally got this one from the lfs and they had a bunch (12 or so) for a while(before i really understood fh). It was beating up my jaguar, texas and oscars in my home tank so he/she came to work. I was going to return him and one day all the other fh where gone, im asuming they fed them to the 4' arowanas. I dont have the heart to return him to get eaten.

That's not a flowerhorn!? :eek: Looks like a unpeeled snook of snook hybrid of some sort. If that and the flowerhorn are paired off they would make some interesting young
