before i spend money i want to make sure that this bulb is compatible. I have a 48 inch Solar Max H.O. light. Not sure brand to brand so just checking if it will work.

Most lights are standard size. Your fixture uses 48" high output t5 54 watt bulbs. The one you listed should fit.
