Nitrate really 160? If so I’d add some seachem prime right away and start doing some water changes. Poor water quality will give similar symptoms in fish. Is ur tank cycled? How long has it been established? What’s ur stock? What are u doing for filtration?

I don't know why it is 160 new filter no visible detritus I think it might be the sand but they basically flip the sand every paddle of their tail fin but also doing water change right now

its a big sun sun canister filter rated for a 150 I have the fish in a 125
