Is this tilapia ruweti babies?

I saw this fish in my local aquarium store and I take the risk and buy this fish without knowing a single thing about it.I presume it is tilapia ruweti babies but I'm not sure about it.So what do you think?I'm newbie in this forum by the way.

Looks like Jewel Cichlid.

Yup, one of the handful of jewel cichlid species.

Also, always find out what species a fish is get some idea of its requirements BEFORE buying

I agree it looks like one of the Hemichromis.
Tilapia ruweti does not have the mid body spot, but "does" have 8-9 vertical bars.

There are at least 15 different species of jewel cichlids, genus Hemichromis.
Because the tank looks to be bare bottom, they may not be showing their true colors.
There are a few that tend to be more blue, than others
cerasogaster
exul
Guinea 1
And Stellifer
But even the more common red species, will tend to wash out, in a bare bottom, or light substrate tank.
