Is this too bright to be a night light?

It's a deep water blue, not actinic, so I thought it would make a good night light. But it's so bright...



Do I even need a night light? Lol. I thought I read something awhile back about some corals needing a moon light.... Is this right?

I would say too bright. My fish didn't seem to sleep with very little light.

I wondered if they would get used to it...How long did you have yours up?

I've got a lamp next to the tank that sometimes gets left on, esp if I'm not home, and they don't seem to mind that. The clowns and angel don't mind it anyway. Never do know about the cardinal. I don't think he sleeps though...lol
