I got three more fish today for my grow out tank and I'm thinking I maybe shouldn't have. Current stock is now:

1 Male Con (3")
1 Male Tex (2")
Three unsexed JD's (1.5")
1 Female Sal (1.5")
1 unsexed pictus (2.5")
1 unsexed Festivum (3") <----new guy
2 unsexed FM's (1.5") <---new guys

I was hoping since the Festivum is bigger then the rest (besides the con) that he could grow up and then stay in this tank once I decide on what is moving on to my 120(yes some are coming out of my 120 as well). But I dunno he already got nipped by the Texas.

So anyway how long can I grow these guys out in this 55 before I have to remove some?

Anybody have any input? :(

When they start claiming more territory than your 55 can provide. Just watch their aggression levels. You'll know when it's time to move some.

Move the bigger bullies when they start to readily nip and chase other fish. You'll eventully work your way down to a few, peaceful fish.

Thanks everyone. I'm hoping for six months but we will see. Thanks again.
