Someone is selling this off of their salt water tank.

"I have an expensive oasis day/night 4' aquarium light asking $100.
(two 65w white bulbs, two 65w actinic blue bulbs, and eight lunar LEDs)
Also includes one spare actinic bulb a $45 value
Three Plugs and three switches (allows you to use timer)"

Is this too much lighting for a 135 freshwater tank? Will it give me a ton of alage?

I have two 48" 10,000K, an actinic 03, a colorlife full spectrum and two moonlights built into a canopy on a 55g and I do occasionally get some algae but nothing my BN pleco won't take care of. The amount I get is far less than I expected since I knew I was pushing the envelope with lighting.

If your not trying to grow plants, just use 1 row of lights. Using 2 bulbs instead of 4 should help, and just keep up on water changes and keep nutrients in check, should be perfect.
