In my 55 i have and AquaClear 50 , Aquaclear 30 and a Emperor 400 bio wheel. And do I even need an airpump? just wondering if its a bad thing.

No you don't need additional aeration, unless you have the tank packed with fish at a high temp.

that's a lot of water turn over.
there isn't anything against over filtration, but just note that the water current will be strong in a tank of that size with that much filtration. make sure your fish are able to handle themselves.

Almost all fish can handle those flow rates. There is only a small strong flow margain in the tank.

If you ever start another tank you can throw won of those ACs on to help cycle it!
