Hello,

My 4.5 female Dovii is quite the entertaining fish.

She seems to get along with all my fish except for my 6.5 inch Oscar.

She will nudge other smaller fish from 'her spot' but nothing serious.

However, she will flat out go for my Oscar who doesn't fend her off to much but scurries away after flaring up a bit at her.

She doesn't bite him or attach him. Just will go out of her way if he is within 12 inches of her territory. But again, she will let other smaller fish right next to her.

Is this normal for one fish to just not like another fish?

She is fun to watch, and I love my Oscar a lot too. I will have to watch to see how this unfolds.

Hes right, she probably thinks (since the oscar is big) that its imposing on her territory, rather than the smaller fish who aren't a threat to her

she's repping the set to larger fish.
smaller fish can't take over a larger dovii's spot.

i doubt i could ever keep a dovii in a tank with anything else other than it's significant other and plec' or else there would be made beef yo.
