I believe this is a flower horn. I just picked it up at local pet store. Bet ya can't guess what i paid for it!!!!

I don't know much about fh, but chances are since you bought it from your lfs its of lower quality. A fh that size around the southern central pa would prob go for aroudn $10 or so
Looks like a FH to me,but I'm no expert. You never know with hybrids,it could grow into a beauty. I would say 5 or 6 bucks.
If you are lucky it is a true trimac and not a FH. But I am no expert on ID'ing FHs and Trimacs, I will have to defer to the experts

It's a flowerhorn, but it's hard to tell what type since the color in the pic is not too good. If it gets a reddish color, it's probably a red dragon, if it gets nice silver pearly scales, it's a ZZ. Those are really the only kinds sold cheap at lfs
It actually had no label at the local fish store. I seen some at a store in michigan in the 5" range going for $50-80bucks i bought this guy for $3.49
