I just want to know what u guys all thought of this. I like it alot but was wondering whats the highest you would pay for this girl.

i have never been a huge koi fan but lately ive been getting really into them. Ive started a pond build for my RTCs and other large S.A.s and i want to get some koi to add color and like how they schhool together. And yeah this platinum thing drives me crazy. And maybe i cant breed them in the pond to use as feeders. LOL But on a real note shes a really nice looking female and of breeding age.

Koi don't school together. They go about and do their own thing. Yes, they swim together, but most of the time you will find them off doing their own thing.

Cichlids and koi don't often mix well together because the cichlid eventually get the upper hand.

Not to mention, koi need extremely cleaner water paramaters than cichlids, cats, and goldfish. It's very possible you may end up having a koi with ulcers or fin rot.

Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $200.

I have over 100 koi, and I've paid $400 for an individual import.

in some koi websites you can find koi that size and good looking for $200 and up!

why are koi so crazy in price for "show" quailty koi? that one is gorgeous though. it shows the same coloration as would a platinum aro or something

this koi is imported from japan.

My koi do just fine with my RTC, Pacus, Jag, and Flowerhorn. And the plan was to over filter the pond so i would be able to see the bottom and my RTC.

i dont undertsand some of the crazy prices. Just saw a koi at $2,500 and do not care for it at all. LOL
