I just added some driftwoods and within two days my tank turn into pee color. Will tanin leaching from the driftwood this excessive hurt my fish?

Nope! The tanning only hurts your eyes :D

tannins some of the healthiest stuff otu there however if its BRAND new driftwood, itll turn coffee if you dont do big WC

I got worried so I did a 30% waterchange to make myself feel better. I soaked these woods for several days in warm water but it seems there is still a lot of tanin left inside the wood.

Do clown loaches like tanins too?

im actually boiling some driftwood now.

some unsoaked driftwood is nice in case for some reason your Ph gets really overly basic. for me, my water is a little hard, when i put the wood in there for the first time my oscar became much more active!

Bpass are from South America where most of the waters are soft and acidic. Tannins are wonderful and your fish will not at all be harmed by them.. If fact as time goes on you may start to like the tint to the water. You will NEVER see a crispy tank in my house, all tea colored.... I find it far more natural looking and my fish display better colors IMO. Just sayin...
