I´ve just discovered this great artist (today actually). There was this commercial on swedish tv with a great and absolutely wonderful cover on over the rainbow. I did some research and found IZ!

anyone else that listens to his music? was he just big in hawaii or was he famous in the rest of US? what did he die of?

The fact that IZ is known outside his genre I would say that would make him pretty popular.

Hawaii aka "The Big island" is the biggest. Maui was the name of the person the was to belived to pull the island
out of the ocean.
