Is it okay to keep 25 cm palmas buettikoferi alone in this aquarium, which is the bottom area of 60cm * 50cm? if so, how long?

Cant hold too long, got to upgrade eventually.

what would be a suitable basis for an area one angry buetti? I had to separate from other fish because of its aggressive behavior towards other poly. I've been trying to sell fish, but I have not found a buyer. Now I'm stuck on what to do.

Definitely keep him separate, they are a mean fish! I'd say the tank is a lil small, but mine is in a 55g which isn't ideal, but he is relatively small for a full grown fish only maybe 11"

Good that you said that brich999. I would have maybe tried once more whether it can be an aquarium without a fight, because if it would have calmed down in isolation. I do not want other poly`s to suffer anymore. Hopefully, I find it a new home.

I think that Reezihii is talking about the bichir and not a Tilapia.

My man thinks, that i can not buy fully aquarium just for one fish. He also thinks its sad to keep buetti alone, because he can see how much my other polys enjoy each other's company. So i wonder, is there any possibility that it can keep never again with other polys. Even his own kind another P. Palmas Buettikoferi? Or is it doomed to be alone rest of his life? I am started thinking to keeping it after all.
