For some reason i thought it would be a out xmas too... almost forgot halloween was right around the corner...
The fat man has been aggressively expanding his holiday hegemony to the western regions of the calender. Thanksgiving has already fallen, and my spies report that Halloween is considering suing for peace, as Christmas is beginning to develop a de jure claim on September at this point. We must resist, lest reality become a Hallmark movie! I can think of no worse fate, for that is a fate worse than death.
You are right though, once halloween is over, stores seem eager to get Xmas decorations out for sale asap... i guess any excuse they can use to sell their wares earlier is a good excuse...
I like the before and after look. Maybe you can take another picture in a couple of weeks when it's all soggy, deflated and stinking!
