I'm quite excite that I'm starting a new tank, I'm gonna go all out on this tank slowly upgrading everything. I ordered the tank last week and it seems like the time is passing sooooooo slowly waiting for it to come in. They told me 4-6 weeks but I'm really hoping it comes in sooner as the waiting is driving me nuts. I'll post pictures as soon as I actually start working on it.

Its a standard 55 with overflow...I know not that exciting but it works best for size constraints, I'm going to be building a reef tank hopefully showcasing symbiotic relationships, but the idea of exactly how it will turn out is still forming. I have a general Idea of what i'll do but exactly what I'll be stocking is still slightly up in the air.

Awesome...I want to see the progress as well... Hell, I guess I should document my little first time... you can all laugh at the mistakes I will surely make :D

remember, if you think you are going to make a mistake, ask, most reefers have made the same mistake at one time or another. and with the abundance of information here, it doesnt hurt to ask, you can get several renditions of answers that all work, in their own little way. Will be watching as you go along.

chawk610 it would be great to see you document your tank. Its always fun because when you are working you don't see the progress so well but when you look at before and after photos it can be pretty cool. And trust me I've made many many mistakes some of which would probably have you rolling on the floor saying what the hell were you thinking.

plus its good to see others tanks that way I can steal uh er I mean borrow Ideas that I like...oh and chawk i think you'll do just fine as you have a pretty sweet avitar there

can't wait to see some picture's just take your time with all your purchase's and enjoy the adventure.
