Would like to know if i miss something or anything... i feel the setup for my sump + autodrip is just way too simple.. it seems it is too good to be true.

Tank size : 200cm x 90cm x 60cm
2x Fluval fx6 + 1x eheim 2217 + 1x 55 gal sump.

This is the Video :

#1- New water Chamber
I cant tell the drip/hour rate, i just set the water to be dripping just enough.
The water is pre-filtered with active carbon, then go to the mechanical filtration chamber

#2. Mechanical + plants filter chamber
i am going to put A LOT of plants (photos plant) in this chamber. The purpose of this sump is specifically to be nitrate absorber facility. The mechanical filtration is there just because.

#3- the clean water chamber. image3.JPG

The 1-1/4 in hole for draining the excess water.

Tell me if i am missing something.
Please advices.
Thanks

Im using spring water, so it is chlorine free water.

The ph of new water is 6.3... it is not the true ph by the way.. if i leave the water 24 hours the ph will rise to 7.2.

Im dripping it slow enough so it doesnt affect the tank ph which is 7.2-7.4 and TDS is around 120

I dont know if i should get the new water directly to the main tank, or it is fine to do the way i do it right now

Seams right to me, once you get the plants in and find out how much nitrate they absorb from the tank then you can udjust the water inflow so that you waste as little water as you can. But for all intensive purposes dont relly on the plants as they can die and then your up **** creek.

Good luck
Thomas
