They can grow quickly in the first year or 2 as most fish do, then slow down. I bought 2 indo's in Feb 2011 at the size of a guitar pic, and now both are the size of my hand, approx 6-8 inches long nose to tail. They went into my 220 when they were about the size of a baseball, but before that i had them in a 40 gallon breeder for 6 months to go from guitar pic to baseball size.
