State of chaos
I WAS SICK TODAY AND I GOT UP TO CHECK MY TANKS. I ALMOST PASSED OUT WHEN I SAW A WIGGLY THING AT THE SURFACE! GAMBUSIA AFFINS FRY! I HAVE 3 SO FAR I NETTED THEM OUT AND PUT THEM IN A PLASTIC BOWL OF TANK WATER WITH SOME GRAVEL! YAY!!!! i'LL KEEP YOU GUYS POSTED:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2
BTW give me tips on care, feeding, ETC.

Congratulations!

For a quick fix, you can use flake food crushed up as food for now.
If you have a little tank laying around, toss them in there with a small filter.
Just cover up the filter intake withe some filter fiber.
They are easy fry to raise. You should be good.

I have a plastic nano tank, but the water looked foggy so I used the bowl. I don't have a tiny filter so I'm going with daily Water Changes. I have 4 now, but they've stopped coming. :( hoping that there are more coming and that they didnt get eaten when I was laying down...

The other fry will be hidden in the gravel. Instead of using a separate container, float a container in the tank (and of course fill with tank water). This allows the water temp to be stabilized at tank temp; in a bowl, the temp of the fry water would drop to room temp.

the bowl is too big so to put it in it would force me to remove the tank's lid and the bowl would freak out my existing fish, possibly making them jump out.
i'm gonna do daily 70% water changes with water from the existing tank to avoid having to measure out the dechlor for the bowl

UPDATE: They're doing great! Some of them even started eating. PH is fine, haven;'t tested the other params yet. (I have my Mom do it because I don't want to spill hydrochloric acid on myself and look like a bad Halloween costume.)
