Hey guys how is everyone doing? Things are going well here but it's getting to that time. Months and months back I bought 4 baby red shoulder severums hoping to get at least 1 female. As my suspicions turned out they are all 4 male. My biggest is now growing a lot faster than the others and the fighting has escalated quite a lot in the past week to where now the other fish are getting damaged from the fights. I'm looking in to my lfs about selling them and they said they should have room at some point this week! So I'm probably getting rid of the smaller ones this week as well as my other altifrons (bought 3, 3 males, keeping 1).
So my question to you guys is what would be a good filler/dither fish to put in this tank. It's a 65g wide and will be left with, 1 severum, 1 altifrons, 1 ornate, 2 endli's, 1 rope, 1 butterfly, 1 abk. The average length is 4-5" of these fish, except the ornate at 8". Yes this is a grow out, yes I know the fish will grow (said it before). They have a 180g waiting when they grow a little larger, then hopefully a 220g.
Any ideas? I was thinking of a female severum and some dithers but not sure if a 180 is big enough for a pair mixed with my other guys. But need something to spread aggression since the other little ones will be gone.
