my 5" senegal bichir took a dive last night, I woke to the glass shakin, I saw he wasnt in the tank and flipped out, looked for 20minutes, found him lifeless covered in dirt and hair (I had know Idea i was so dirty). I held him in the tank just beneeth the surface...HE LIVED! The little guy climbed atop the heater and pushed the glass top off and jumped. This morning he was back to normal.

(I have eminems "3AM" stuck in my head, hence the little song there)
 
Oh no, Im glad he is still alive.
 
I've had my senegals jump out of their tank also. They breath air, so they can live a while out of water. Mine are all still alive. Glad to hear yours made it.
 
it gave me a panic attack, and at 2am. I was so happy but after I was so worked up I didnt get back to sleep until 5am (I had to watch him). I changed my tanks up not to long ago, so I think he was trying to "go home", so I switched heaters with my other tank (to a submersable heater) so it shouldnt happen again. When I picked him up he was completely lifeless, didnt respond to me picking him up at all.

that sounds more like the verse/beat to slightly stupids "2am"
 
good save....I found my senegal under a bean bag after a water change...I just happened to move the beanbag for some reason I didnt even know he wasnt in the tank...picked him up and put him back he was fine and was out of water for at least 10 min
 
Its very possible, its not like rap doesnt "borrow" from other genre's.

I'm dreading the day I find one of my sen's on the ground:\ So far they haven't even tried. The larger of my two will sometimes hit the surface of the water, but its only when he's hanging out on the spray bar and flips off it to come down when he thinks I'm feeding (or wants to see me...I swear he comes down to interact when I sit down in front of the tank:ROFL:)
