itching fish

my fish all of a sudden are itching themselves on the rocks alot. all of them are doing it. i thought might be some type of parasite but i checked them out and didnt see anything. any ideas?

its called 'flashing' so thats a name you can start researching with can be many things as a cause, but if its not often its a fish with an itch.

add Salt and medication
I found that salt really helps.

Be careful about combining salt and meds, read the label first, salt increases the toxicity of some meds.

You should only take peoples advices into consideration. Afterall, most of the things I know I have learned from others or experience. Overall your going to be the one with outcome. However, in my personal experience I have seen a lot of fish with ich. And I have noticed that those fish do much better in fighting itch when “you” add the recommended dose of salt and med. But overall I agree salt is not “always” best. But when it comes to itch, it would be a good idea if you did.

Could be a small fish lice. Usually a partial water change and add1 tblsp to 10 gal of water of Epsom salts(Available a pharmacies) will not harm filter.
