Both r amazing.. For the amount of music i listen to.. the 180 is the one for me.. The iTouch would be second on my list..

Depends on how much you're gonna use it.. Since most of your stuff sits for months before use anyways I'd stick with that one.. lol But you will get to use this on flights, and stuff.

my 16g touch, has been giving me problems constantly right from when i started useing it, i wouldn't reccomend touches if you want a more work horse ipod, the larger video's/ classic's /and nano's are much better.

I said the 160 gig only because i already have internet at home and on my laptop. and because i have a camera already. but otherwise i would buy the touch instead...hey li do you have to pay for internet and is it fast?

I would go with the touch unless you have 20,000 plus songs.. I have about 2,500 on my iphone and that is plenty for what I need it for. I also have a back up ipod video 60 gig with all my music on it. I guess really you need both. The touch is a lot cooler in my opinion. Wi-Fi, youtube, safari, etc...

Just had to make the same decision about a month ago. I ended up going with the 160 gig iPod. I'm glad I made this choice. I have a Blackjack phone that I use for the internet and everything, so I decided to go with the extra memory instead of the iTouch. I'm happy with the decision.

I have 12 GB of music on my work computer alone, and that is about half of my collection that I have at home...

*edit* after a quick look I have 19.4 GB on my work comp.
