It's a New Day - Need Advice on Next Steps

I posted about my holiday tank disaster yesterday here:

Today a new day - I must look forward...

First step is to clean out the tank and sump. The setup is a 92 gallon bowfront with a 20 gallon sump with bio-balls.

Any advice on best practices on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

Start by assessing the toxicity levels developed from the dead fish. If the tank is left in the cold of winter, I would say very little bacterial activity took place. You can check this by looking for very dark stains built up in your substrate or somewhere else. If the water became totally contaminated and little BB can be saved, time to clean, scrub, bleach and boil some things and start over by re-cycling your tank. 0.02$
