It's been about a number of years since I've kept Piranhas, but I'm officially back into it, and it feels so good!
I hit the fish store June 12, and found a juvenile RBP who is completely missing the left eye, scrunched into the corner as far as it could go, and so it came home with me. With the eye missing, it's a terrible hunter, so we've made the switch already to prepared foods. The first two photos are from when I first brought it home, now that it's eating, the belly isn't sunken in, but with the blackwater in the tank and the lights being dim, I can't get a decent pic for the life of me, the blurry photo is current from earlier this evening. I'm looking forward to catching up on everything that's changed since I've been out of piranhas and growing this kid up to a healthy adult.
