I haven't shared my f1 barred midas in a while. I got these from a local guy sometime last year when they were still fry. The male is one of the best glass bangers in my fish room. The female wants to breed but he's just not that into her yet so I have them divided but the female can pass from side to side.

Next up is my 3" pair of odo's. Have only had these about a month. While I was taking pictures I realized that the mom was circling around this castle sucking up fry and spitting them back in. I figured they had fry in there but this is the first I saw of them. I don't know what I'm going to do with the fry but whatever. Any locals want any?

I moved my 4 austroloheros red ceibal into a 20gallon about 2 weeks ago earlier this week they laid eggs for me. The fry just hatched today. They're kind of a shy fish and I didn't want to mess with them too much so I only got 1 picture.

Here is my conkeli (pink fene or vieja/paratheraps hybrid) around 3". Hasn't changed much but I figured I'd include him in my update.

My dad is on vacation so I got stuck watching his fish. Somehow he manages to keep a 12" gar (anybody know the species?, 8" male jag (3+ years old), a 9" pleco, and 2 male and 1 female convicts ranging from 2-3" in a 90gallon. The only reason the convicts are there is because I brought them over when they were fry for food for his gar and they all didn't get eaten. His tank has been going strong for 3+ years without any issues even though he gives the gar a dozen or so rosies once a week (that's all he will eat) and he probably does one or two water changes a year aside from adding fresh water to the tank once some has evaporated. It makes me mad that he doesn't take better care of his fish but they've always been healthy and all I can really think is things could be a lot worse. Anyways, here they are in a temporary setup at my place. I can't believe they actually get along..

Earlier this week I had a pair of cutteri successfully spawn in a 55gallon that I have packed full of about 20 other cryptoheros. I waited for the fry to hatch and moved them all to another tank. In this tank I also have a male honduran red point breeding with a female convict. Can you say respectacons? I'm going to be rich LOL jk.. Feeders! In another tank I have a female trimac and a male texas who have been trying to breed for a while but I have some red tail botia in with them that usually eat the eggs.

I also have my amphilophus sagittae, and telmatochromis temporalis consistently breeding. I'm running out of room to raise fry. I usually don't have this much stuff breeding all at once it is madness!!! I'm thinking of setting up a 29gallon that I just dump all of my fry into and hope for the best that I can tell them a part later LOL. That's all for now unless you want to see my flowerhorns then go to my threads.

The midas is lookin good and I really like the Odos. I feel sorry for your fathers Jag though. 3+ yrs and only 8" long. That's very slow growth. A good example of what happens with a bad w/c schedule though.

that's sick camp, i haven't seen you around mfk in a while?
what it do? lol.

nice collection. the jag is beautiful but as greenterra mentioned, it should be alot bigger than what it is considering it's 3yrs old! i guess it could be a good thing as far as aggression goes in your dads tank though.

so many breeding fish at 1 time LOL. how many tanks do you have setup, including fry growout tanks?

I'm liking the barred midas and the haits. A lot of potential I see in both. The male hait looks to have some good finnage.

The male midas fits the stereotype for my perfect fish. It is sad for the jag but at the same time it's lucky for the gar. The jag is territorial in my dads tank but not too bad. I know if it were raised in my tank it would have killed everything a long time ago and it would probably be 16"

Yeah it's because I've been more into flowerhorns lately.

I have about 20 tanks setup and another 5 lying around in case I need them. I'm moving soon though so I'm going to have to condense down a lot stuff.

Thanks I got rid of the barred midas to a friends once but I had to get them back and I'm so glad I did this male is awesome. The odo's are really nice it's a shame they get so damn big I probably won't be able to keep them forever.

Every thing looks good Camph! I love the colors on the Odo's and the Barred Midas' are looking huge! Colors are great too.

I love the Fene... Hes ugly in color but I think when he grows out he'll be sweet!

Haven't you wanted fry from the Austroloheros? LOL

Camphs nursery can I help you??
