The cheezy Captivate News screen in my office building said that today is Endangered Species Day, apparently.

In the spirit of said day, here are (cell phone, sorry) pictures of the endangered species I keep, Paratilapia Sp. Andapa.

This is Galaxy. He survived the USPS losing his package in the mail for 3 days as a baby, and look at him now!

I'm not sure if there is a common name. PM me and I can send you the email of the breeder who shipped me mine. These guys were fished almost to extinction for food, as I understand it. They get BIG and can be aggressive, though.

What a beautiful fish :D

Hmm...unfortunately (?) I do not own any endangered fish that I am aware of. Most of my fish are F1 or not endangered. (Geo. Altifrons, A. Heckelii, Clown killifish, L66 King Tiger Pleco? maybe?)

I'm working on breeding 2 of cichlids on the list Matt posted, and 1 live bearer
