For many years, I'm running both fresh and salt water tank cause I don't want to give up neither of them LOL.
Now, I'm getting tired of massive freshwater change weekly and sill not really happy with the water test result in term of Nitrate, Nitrate 40ppm is the number i'm getting permanent due to high Nitrate tap water. So, yesterday! I spend pretty much whole day to closed out all my freshwater tank :) and traded all fishes for few hundreds bucks of saltwater supplies. It's my first weekend that I don't need to do hundred of gallons water change lol...Lazy? I know it is. I just do my 20% saltwater change and Nitrate is 5ppm. Everyone getting old as some point, now I have few hours extra time sit and watch my saltwater tank! :)

Just my Tesselata and a grow out 7 months old Clown Trigger. I'm thinking to make my last tank for coral reef but I'm not decide yet.
Please excuse me if this is a stupid question, but do you need to do as big of water changes for a FOWLR as freshwater?
