Guess what I got last night! Come on, guess!

No, I did not get a rubber duck the size of an elephant. And no, I did not get an elephant the size of a rubber duck. Though both would have been cool too.

I went and got a 75 G, metal stand (oh, look at that, room for another 75G... ;) ), glass lid and an awesome light setup/lights! :headbang2So it looks like I am going to go the aquascaping route this time around! So that just leaves the filter, heater, water, fish.... XD But it's a start!

I'll put some pictures up once I get it together, because I am a nerd.

nice. its always fun to get something new goin.

That's awesome! Congrats!

Got photos yet? lol

Alright, here are the pictures! Sorry for the delay, I stayed late at school to finish some painting.

Aquarium = Standard 75G (48"x18"x21")
Normal (aka super awesome) metal stand with room for another tank underneath!
Light = AquaticLife Dual-Lamp T5 HO (with lights)

So, nothing too exciting for anyone except me. XD Now I'm going to make sure it's level, and clean it all out. Check for leaks. All the fun stuff.

I am loving the size of this tank, event though I have nothing in it yet. Not too big and not too small! I like that it gives me a bit of depth for an aquascape as well! :)

And as the weekend approaches, I will be going equipment shopping! I'll need to pick up filtration, heating, a python, a water test kit, a thermometer, a timer for the lights, substrate, a bucket, water conditioners and hardscape stuff. Screw shoes, the cool thing to shop for is FISH STUFF!

I'll post some more tank updates once it looks like something. Probably after I start fooling around with the hardscape. I was eyeing some nice pieces of driftwood the other day...
