I am currently keeping a stick insect colony for use as fish food. I want to keep crickets as feeders also. Duz anybody know if crickets amd stickies will live together or am I best keeping seperate colonies. I only ask as I want to save on space.

Many thanks in advance.

I would keep separate just in case one likes to eat the other...

Maybe im wrong but arnt they both herbivores? Stick bugs are too slow to be carnivores and I cant think of the last time I saw crickets munching on a squirrel.

I think you will be just fine

Dunno what crickets you have in the UK but i know the species commonly bred here for reptile food eats anything. The packages they come in contain vegetables like carrot for them but once the carrot is eaten they eat each other.

I would probably throw in some raw meat then, and see what happens. Maybe they are really like tiny land piranhas.
